Kianga Group was never just a business idea; it was my answer to life when it fell apart.

I was a mother navigating deep grief, raising a daughter with Down syndrome and autism, while managing my chronic illness,  all without a roadmap.

 

Every day felt like a battleground, where the systems meant to support us failed to meet our needs. But rather than wait to be saved, I started building.

What began as finding ways to make ends meet, designing floor plans to help friends, guiding others through complex services, and self-regulating tools for my daughter’s development soon revealed a pattern. I wasn’t just surviving anymore. I was creating frameworks that worked. Systems rooted in real life, not red tape.

People started to come to me. For advice. For clarity. For structure.
And I gave it freely — night after night, client after client — because I believed we all deserved better.

 

Over time, these one-off solutions turned into full ventures or ventures in the making.

Why Kianga?

Kianga means sunshine, and that’s what I needed most when my life felt dark and uncertain. Today, it represents the light we bring to systems that feel broken, the clarity we bring to people’s visions, and the warmth we offer to those navigating complex journeys.

I didn’t set out to build a group of companies — I set out to survive.
But survival gave birth to solutions, and solutions became structures.
And now those structures are here to serve others.
